Try it

Pull left until the archive lights complete, then release. Or open actions with the keyboard.

The interaction. Crossing the threshold acknowledges intent once. Pulling back cancels it, and the fully revealed action remains a real target.

One shared language. Permanent dots, selective light handoffs and clean outlined shells. Chalk, Carbon and Ember carry the family across sizes and themes.

Make it yours. The preview and installation use the same source. Pointer, touch and keyboard interactions share the same state model, with system reduced motion respected throughout.

Usage

This is the working preview example. Save it in a separate file after installing the component. Recording, media clocks and requests are illustrative: connect their controlled state and callbacks to your application.

components/examples/swipe-demo.tsx
'use client';

import { useState, useRef, useEffect } from 'react';
import { MatrixSwipeRow } from '@/components/dot-matrix/swipe-entry';

export default function SwipeExample() {
  const [archived, setArchived] = useState(false);
  const restore = useRef<HTMLButtonElement>(null);
  const source = useRef<HTMLButtonElement>(null);
  useEffect(() => { if (archived) restore.current?.focus({ preventScroll: true }); }, [archived]);
  return <div style={{ display: 'grid', justifyItems: 'center', gap: 24, width: '100%' }}>
    <div role="list" aria-label="Your collection" style={{ width: '100%' }}><MatrixSwipeRow title="Field notes" detail="A few things worth keeping" archived={archived}
      triggerRef={source} onArchive={() => setArchived(true)} /></div>
    {archived ? <button ref={restore} type="button" className="dm2-control" onClick={() => {
      setArchived(false);
      requestAnimationFrame(() => source.current?.focus({ preventScroll: true }));
    }}>Restore field notes</button> : null}
  </div>;
}
